If ASTRAYA is the starry-eyed, good-natured ‘girl-scout’ of their team, then Robyn Kaine is the jaded, less overtly cheery antidote to her.While not humourless, mean or unapproachable by any means, she’s rougher around the edges and occasionally has to bring her Space Oddity right back down to Earth to focus on the here and now.Nevertheless, Robyn is generally positive and easy-to-root-for if you’re a fan, with a taste for the theatrical, going out of her way to wear interesting gear for her matches. If you had to go out into the world and find a poster girl for taking a childhood full of pain and turning it into an adulthood of perseverance, Robyn Kaine would be a hell of a candidate.Spending the first few years of her life in an orphanage, Robyn was eventually adopted by a lovely couple living in the civil parish of Gotham in Nottinghamshire. Robyn would sometimes imagine who her parents were, and pretend there was a more interesting story behind losing them, when she knew this was obviously not the case. After forming an interest in comic books, and movies, Robyn found herself being drawn to Batman, ironically due to where she lived and her name, and how he turned life-changing loss into something better. And whatever she ended up doing with her life, she’d carry that with her, and inspire others like her too.But Batman wasn’t her only inspiration, oh no. She found other heroes in wrestling. And of course, that led her onto the path of pursuing this crazy world, too. And it was here, she met ASTRAYA, and the two became best friends almost immediately, then girlfriends thereafter, forming the tag team ‘World’s Finest’. Now, in ZION Wrestling, she looks to take this whole wrestling thing to the next level!

WRESTLING STYLE

My GOD, Robyn Kaine is a big bitch. By which I mean a hoss. Not as much as her tag partner Astraya, but enough to lift you onto her shoulders and do some Samoan drops and things of that nature with little to no issue. But unlike Astraya, Robyn isn’t afraid to live up to her namesake and fly!

STRENGTHS

Why do we fall?: Robyn's a tough cookie. She has the ability to withstand, adapt to, and recover quickly from difficult conditions, stress, or adversity, often bouncing back stronger than previously. This, turns out, terribly good skill for wrestling. You knock her down, she gets back up.Athletic: Robyn's big plan before coming into professional wrestling was to train herself into peak physical condition. Which is easier said than done. But this ongoing quest has allowed Robyn to become incredibly athletic already. She's strong, she's fast, she can lift you, she can flip through the air and take you out.Resourceful: With Prep Time Robyn Kaine is a powerhouse of strategic prowess. A skill inherited from her trainer Adam Fenric, Robyn studies, she pays attention, she watches opponent's matches beforehand and picks out their strengths and weaknesses. On top of that, she uses her surroundings and circumstances to secure a win.

WEAKNESSES

Hot-Headed: Yeah, she's got a bit of a temper, Robyn. She can do, anyway. Again, while ASTRAYA is the lovely, wholesome, butter-wouldn't-melt half of World's Finest, Robyn is very much not. Though still quite silly as is inherent with the team, she's much easier to piss off than ASTRAYA is, with far less patience and decorum than her sunny counterpart. She's got a smart mouth, but when that won't work anymore, Robyn is a hurricane of anger and grumpiness.Lack Of Experience: In bigger matches anyway. Our girl's a fighter, but lads, she's yet to get her feet quite so wet in long-form, Big Match scenarios on her own. This'll eventually clear up, obviously, and if she's with her partner then it'll be fine, but on her own? Robyn is inexperienced as a singles competitor in anything outside of your regular eight minute mid-card match or explosive, exciting, quickfire opening matches.
